Before you open it
On a Mac, choose Apple menu → About This Mac. A listed Apple chip means Apple Silicon; a listed Intel processor means Intel Mac. Apple Silicon requires macOS 13 or later; Intel requires macOS 14 or later.
Double-click the ZIP, move Local School.app into Applications, and open it normally. Do not disable your computer’s security protections.
On Windows, use Windows 11 on a 64-bit x64 PC, with at least 8 GB RAM and 2 GB free disk space for Quick start. Right-click the ZIP, choose Extract All, and run the extracted Local-School-0.8.0-Windows-x64-Setup.exe. Follow the installer, then open Local School from the Start menu or desktop. This is a signed Windows beta; compatibility and speed vary by PC. Read the included READ-ME-FIRST.txt before installing.

Platform: Windows 11, x64.
Local School for Windows is digitally signed under the verified publisher name Angelo Juliani and offered by Adaptable Learning. Its code-signing certificate allows Windows to verify the publisher and detect changes to the signed installer.
The application and installer both have owner-verified digital signatures with Microsoft timestamps; the signing service is Microsoft Azure Artifact Signing. The public certificate and digital signatures are already embedded in the installer. No private signing credentials are needed for this website.
This status is based on owner-supplied verification, not an independent cryptographic or runtime audit by this website. Code signing verifies publisher identity and signed-installer integrity; it is not a Microsoft license, Microsoft endorsement, app-quality certification, independent application security audit, or platform-compatibility guarantee. Windows or SmartScreen may still warn. Do not bypass Windows security protections.
The planned license has a $20 USD one-time base price plus applicable tax and covers one teacher on up to two computers for home and work use, across Apple Silicon Mac, Intel Mac, and the signed Windows beta. Monthly updates are included for one year from purchase; the purchased version remains usable after that year. There are no automatic renewals or recurring Local School fees; later updates would require separate terms. Request a no-questions-asked refund by emailing team@localschool.ai within seven days of purchase; no justification or additional usage condition is required, and there is no fee to request a refund. Read the purchase terms and purchase privacy notice. Test payments do not create a paid license.
Download access is verified in this browser for seven days; this is not a software-license expiration. If you lose access, email team@localschool.ai with your purchase reference. Do not send card details or student information, and do not purchase again just to recover a download.
