Price and license
Local School has a $20 USD one-time base price, plus applicable tax. There are no automatic renewals and no recurring Local School fees.
One license is for one teacher on up to two computers—for home and work use—across the supported builds: Apple Silicon Mac, Intel Mac, and the signed Windows beta. Using a different supported build does not require another purchase or increase the two-computer limit.
Seven-day refunds
Request a refund by emailing team@localschool.ai within seven days of purchase. Refunds are no questions asked; no justification or additional usage condition is required, and there is no fee to request a refund. Never send card details or student information.
Monthly updates included for one year
Monthly updates are included for one year from purchase. After that year, the version you purchased remains usable. There are no automatic renewals or recurring Local School fees; access to later updates would require separate terms. No automatic desktop-app update mechanism is promised.
Downloads and release status
After Stripe confirms a completed payment, the protected download page lets you choose the build for your computer. A checkout redirect alone never grants download access.
Browser download access lasts seven days. This is not a software-license expiration and is separate from the refund window. If you lose access, email support. Do not buy again just to recover a download.
The supplied packages are version 0.8.0. Apple Silicon Mac requires macOS 13 or later; Intel Mac requires macOS 14 or later. Windows is a Windows 11 x64 beta. The owner confirms digital signatures for both the Windows application and installer under verified publisher Angelo Juliani, with Microsoft timestamps, using Microsoft Azure Artifact Signing. This is owner-supplied signing verification, not an independent cryptographic or runtime audit. Windows application source was not supplied for inspection. Code signing is not a Microsoft license or endorsement, app-quality certification, independent security audit, or platform-compatibility guarantee; Windows or SmartScreen may still warn. Read the installation guide before installing; do not bypass your computer’s security protections.

Purchase privacy
Checkout details are handled by Stripe, separately from the desktop app’s teaching content. Adaptable Learning’s approved retention period is 12 months for purchase and support records. Automatic deletion and cleanup are not implemented in this preview. The support-record scheduling basis and required operational deletion and provider controls remain unresolved and must be resolved before live sales. Providers have their own retention practices.
